What Are Moon Days?

In Ashtanga tradition, full moon and new moon days are taken as holidays from regular practice. The observation of the moon cycles in our yoga practice makes us more conscious of nature’s overall rhythm and how we can work with it for greater harmony within ourselves. On these Moon Days the Bandha Room will be closed for the morning Mysore program, Saturday’s Led Primary Class will be observed Friday 6am.  All other classes will be held as usual.
